Nicholas Nadeau Honored as a Finalist for Montreal's Startup Community Awards 2023 Mentor of the Year Award

This recognition, part of the celebrated Startup Community Awards, highlights Dr. Nadeau’s unwavering commitment to nurturing and guiding emerging talent in Quebec’s vibrant startup ecosystem.

The Montreal Mentor of the Year Award, a cornerstone of the Startup Community Awards, is bestowed upon individuals who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to supporting and mentoring entrepreneurs. Dr. Nadeau’s selection as a finalist acknowledges his exceptional contributions to the startup community, particularly in hard tech sectors. Dr. Nadeau’s career is a testament to his dedication to innovation and mentorship. As the Founder and Fractional CTO of Nadeau Innovations, he has driven growth and innovation in various startups and corporate innovations. His leadership at 1X (Halodi Robotics) led to securing the world’s largest humanoid robotics contract with ADT Commercial and raising $24M from OpenAI. His tenure at AON3D (YC W17) was marked by enabling the first 3D-printed parts on the space station and moon.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Nadeau is an active mentor for startups and executives at renowned accelerators like Techstars, NextAI, and Creative Destruction Lab. The public plays a crucial role in determining the award recipient, with voting accounting for 50% of the decision-making process. A jury of experts decides the remaining 50%.
